Ohio Elementary, Middle and High School
The following guidelines are being provided to inform school district
personnel, teachers, and trainers of the intended distribution and use
of School Resource Guide materials developed by the Ohio Commission on
Dispute Resolution and Conflict Management and the Ohio Department of
Education as well as the training protocol for the School Conflict Management
Initiative. A. The school is awarded a school conflict management grant from the Commission and ODE and agrees to the conditions of participation in the Comprehensive School Conflict Management grant program as outlined in the grant application. OR B. School personnel may have access to the Commission's Resource Guides by purchasing the Guides from the Commission and agreeing to select a trainer to work with them who has been trained by the Commission and ODE through a Train-the-Trainer's workshop sponsored by the Commission. The Commission will provide a list of trainers that a school may use to select an individual trainer who best fits their needs. The Commission will also provide schools with a Consumer Guide on Selecting a School Conflict Management Trainer to aid schools in their selection process. II. Responsibility of Trainers
