School Conflict Management Curriculum

The Ohio Commission on Dispute Resolution and Conflict Management, together with the Ohio Department of Education, the Ohio Board of Education, and other educational organizations, work to provide Ohio schools with constructive, non-violent methods for resolving disputes.

Many of these resources are class plans that can be used to teach students conflict management skills. For more information on the Commission or how to start a conflict management program in your school, please contact the Commission at (614) 752-9595.

Acknowledgments

The Ohio Commission on Dispute Resolution and Conflict Management sincerely thanks Sister Anita Whitely. Without her tremendous contribution and organization or these resources, the School Conflict Management Resource Website would not exist.

Sister Anita Whitely would also like to acknowledge Terry Wheeler for resource development, Chris Carlson and Maria Mone for their leadership in the education project, and Victoria Nash and Jennifer Batton, former and present Director of School Programs for the Ohio Commission on Dispute Resolution, for moving this project forward to the website stage.
