Title: Public School Safety Program Proposal
Summary: Permits a public school district to apply to receive funding for a school safety program by submitting a proposal. Part of the proposal must include a plan for implementing a law related education program. Law related education is defined as programs whose purpose is to prevent children and youth from engaging in violence and to promote law-abiding behavior.

Title: School Conflict Mediation Program
Summary: Establishes a school conflict mediation program through the attorney general’s office. Also establishes a toll free number for reports of potential school violence and appropriates money to hire an attorney to oversee the program.
