Case Studies

In Ohio, consensus based processes have been used to address environmental, health care and social services issues, among others. Recent examples include: revisions to the operating rules for the state's "brownfield" redevelopment or Voluntary Action Program, the development of administrative rules to govern the state's large livestock program and recommendations for revisions to the state's child support system and adult care facilities. For more information about specific applications of consensus based processes to public policy questions, review the case studies below, or contact the Commission.
